Hi! I’m Kayla, and I’m so happy you’re here! I wanted to take a minute to tell you a little bit about myself. I’m married to the greatest man on Earth, Chase, and together we have two kids ages 14 and 12.
We recently purchased my childhood home from my parents and are in the midst of a total remodel.
It’s been so fun (and trying at times) renovating the home that I grew up in. I spent my youth and teenage years dreaming of all the changes I’d make to our house if I could.
But I NEVER thought those dreams would become reality – it’s wild!
The house that built me is now the home where my kids will someday say the same.
I’ve been painting almost anything I can get my hands for many years.
I’m in love with a good before and after transformation. The power of paint never ceases to amaze me.
I love transforming vintage furniture from dated to stunning!
While I do dabble with many different paint mediums, my most favorite is high gloss. I’m enamored with the drama that the glossy shine brings to a space.
I also specialize in painting cabinetry in my hometown in Northern Arkansas.
From choosing coordinating colors and fabrics to the execution of a cleanly work-site, I do my absolute best to bring a pleasing and painless process to all of my customers.
In 2017, I launched an online masterclass that teaches DIY’ers exactly how to paint their own cabinets like a pro.
Teaching homeowners and do-it-yourself’ers proper painting techniques is a passion of mine.
I’ve made such great friendships and connections through reading other blogs and through social media platforms.
There’s so much knowledge and inspiration floating around the internet; my hope is that you will find even a sliver here on my site.
