Living Room Before & After

August 17, 2016 7 Comments

Hello my friends!  In my last couple posts, I shared the before and after photos of our kitchen and breakfast nook.  Today, I want to show you the photos of our living room.  No need for me to get too wordy, here we go!

updating an old living room

Light and airy updated living room adorned in shiplap makes for a modern farmhouse retreat.

How to update your tired, old living room

Light and bright living room color scheme makes for a fresh and modern looking interior

How opening up your foyer makes for a more inviting living space

Open foyer allows for a bright and inviting entrance

Cowhide layered over a Jute rug brings a ton of natural texture into this updated living room!

This modern dot print wingback chair brings a fun touch of whimsy to this modern farmhouse!Chinese Chippendale chair

Modern Farmhouse living room. White shiplap walls and gray interior doors lend a rustic meets contemporary feeling to this renovated home.

This neutral living room is far from boring with all of the textures happening! Shiplap, painted brick fireplace and layered rugs hep make this modern farmhouse living room super cozy!
(Whoops! My drill laying on the side table snuck into some of the pictures!)

White curtains and bamboo blinds keep this modern farmhouse feeling relaxed and casual.

Credit for the AFTER photos goes to my friend Lacy.
